Dacistu's garage !

Hi there !

I decided to start a topic where I want to expose my gta sa 3d models,most of you know me and my dacia's from older gta forums where I started to make a full story with those cars and the users loved it !

Currently I'm working as a car mechanic at a friend's auto service,but I hope in the near future to open my self one.

I'm going to present you my daily '84 1310,which had been damaged pretty bad when her back went directly into a tree after drifting through the grass,my fault,high speed ,pulled the steering wheel way too strong while cornering and ended scratching'n destroying all the car's right side,fortunately I'm ok,just a few scratches and some s*itty pants.

Gonna post a few photos with the car at the accident scene and after I towed it at a friend's house where I'm gonna decide what's gonna happen next with it.







Now I either repair it,or scrap it,don't know,it's sunday anyway ,monday i'll give it a try,it's REPAIR CAR or REPLACE CAR.

What's your suggestion?

looks pretty bad,try maybe to find a rust free body and swap the parts from the green to the good one? or move on with another brand?

@ChriszorE21: Gonna weld this one,the front is not damaged so bad,just a few adjustments and it's straight as a plane.

I know it's sunday,good weather,I took the car to my work place,had the doors ,rear boot and the right wheels removed.

Found at the scrapyard an front damaged '88 dacia ,had to cut her body in half in order to weld it to my car.

Gonna post some photos with the w.i.p , a lot of work is neeaded here and anyway I have to find another cheap crap car until I finish my dacia.

Update !

I got the back of the dacia attached to the rest of the original chassis,gotta weld it and then start to prepare it for the new paint,some filler's needed and some extra rust protection.

I bought my "new"daily car !!! It's an vw passat '99 1.9 TDI 116hp registred in Bulgaria in order to avoid the enviroment tax which is expensive ,the car was cheap as a hat,700 E ,it looks good and runs fine,hope to sell it for profit when the dacia is finished,don't know yet !

Shoppin'time:

Ok ,it's monday again,I was very busy this weekand ordering parts for my "new"passat,and today I'm gonna give her a little special "Dacistu's treatment" as a welcome.

Everything that i'd ordered has arrived today and I'm getting ready for action.

On today's to do list:

-Oil change,5w40 diesel-hightech Liqui Moly
-Oil filter Mann
-Air filter Mann
-Engine additive clean&boost Liqui Moly
-New brake disks & calipers with pads from Brembo
-New rear exhaust original part from VW(the old one is rusted out)
-Two front shock absorbers(the rear ones are expected to arrive at the shop)
-New radiator original part from VW(the old one is cracked ->trash)
-7 liters of coolant original from VW




The dacia project has stopped because I'm expecting an inert gas supplier that I had ordered so I can start welding her body and prepare it for sanding&painting.

Stay tuned for more,love the passat btw,the engine's in very good condition,planning some rear trailer ball mount,a full paint polish&waxing ,xenon headlights and more !

Whoaaaa So much work to do man Any mods planned for this little badboy ? Or stock ?

UPDATE !!!

The passat is mostly finished,the car is gonna be a daily one until I finish the dacia so for the moment it will remain let's say stock.

Gonna paint his front bumper in original color because that's how I bought it,probably the original one was changed.....and almost forgot ,new hood bra has been added ^^ .

The car is ready for mileaging ! the trailer ball mount is next on the list and the xenons of course !!!

Update !

New rims on my passat ! They were almost free so it was a shame not to get'em , love the way they look on the car,more fitment is needed,and some more work on adjusting the suspension.

UPDATE !!!

As you may have noticed,the location has been changed because I recently rented an old service near my house,where I want to open my own car service in the near future.

Finally started the work on my old dacia !

Got her body welded,took out the engine because the old one already had a high oil consumption and a lot of mileage,also had replaced all the right doors and one from left & front wing, now I'm gonna sand it for the new paint

Bought a second hand engine from a '95 dacia and some new complete exhaust line, and some front control arms,a lot of work to do though ! Gonna post a quick photo with the w.i.p dacia:



The VW had recieved some mud flaps,rear window films,rear trailer ball mount,and got welded some custom exhaust tips,doesn't make any noise cuz'the exhaust is new&stock,just looks good.

@Tomy02: Am scris mai sus dar daca nu ai citit,mai scriu odata,este 1.9 TDI ^^ mersi pentru aprecieri !.

I decided to stop the work on my dacia's body because I couldn't redo the rear wheel alignments...don't know why,I had welded her very careful...maybe the other car was damaged before....I have no idea anyway !

So gonna keep my old dacia for spare parts and yesterday I found a yellow Renault 12 TX from 1985 for sale(for a very bargain price),the car runs so different&much better than my old dacia ! is not 100% original,but I'm gonna rebuild this one because it has a solid body!

Future plans with the 12'er:

-Engine swap: 1.6 diesel from vw golf 2 & gearbox.
-Full body corrosion protection treatment

And many,many things,including a Dacistu's special care,STAY TUNED ! ! ^^

UPDATE !

It's been awhile,hard times,I had to sell the garage,the vw passat,and the renault 12 too and all my tools in order to pay some debts.

After all that I moved to my old house and started to look for a new job.But first,I have to buy some very cheap car so I can do my daily roads.

While standing outside my place in this morning,I saw a car that I knew,old and abandoned,in the past I had sold this car to my neighbourgh which now has another car and this one is just standing'n rusting.

It was my ex dacia 1310 mls,it never looked good,but now it's just rust'n holes and the engine's headgasket is blown.

Until I'm gonna find something to work in order to make some money,I'm gonna repair it for cheap and hope to put her ass back on the road again !
